  1. This competition is run by Amka Products (Pty) Ltd (“Amka”).
  2. This competition is open to individuals who are permanent residents or citizens of South Africa, aged 18 years and older, with a valid South African ID document. In addition, the respective winners of the vehicles (see clause 11.c) must have a valid South African driving licence in order to take possession of a vehicle; if the winner is not in possession of a valid South African driving licence, they can exchange the prize for cash (see clauses 17.a and 17.b). Competition entry excludes Amka employees, their advertising agencies, sales agents and their immediate families.
  3. This competition is limited to selected Shoprite stores in Gauteng, the Northern Region and KwaZulu-Natal.
  4. The competition commences on 15 September 2025 and closes at 12am (midnight) on 30 November 2025.
  5. Participants cannot win in this competition if they have won a prize from Santoor, Lemonvate, Lemon Lite, Lip Ice, Clere Radiance or Cuticura in the past 12 months i.e. 12 months prior to 15 September 2025.
  6. This competition applies only to the purchase of any products from the following brands:
    1. Santoor
    2. Lemonvate
    3. Lemon Lite
    4. Lip Ice
    5. Clere Radiance
    6. Cuticura
  7. To enter, participants will be required to:
    1. Buy any two (2) promotional products, with a promotional sticker that features a unique promotional code required for entry, from the participating brands;
    2. WhatsApp ‘Car’ to 068 842 6895 and follow the prompts; and
    3. Keep their till slip as proof of purchase.

  1. Entries are limited to five (5) per cell phone number and five (5) per person per month. A person may only win one (1) weekly prize for the duration of the competition; weekly winners are still eligible to win one (1) of the eight (8) remaining grand prizes.
  2. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that any information which is provided to Amka is accurate, complete and up to date.
  3. Proof of purchase will be required in order to claim a prize.
  4. Participants stand a chance to win a share of R515 000 in prizes, as set out below:
    1. One (1) of 90 (ninety) daily Shoprite vouchers to the value of R500 each;
    2. One (1) of six (6) trolley dashes worth R5 000 each; and/or
    3. One (1) of two (2) Suzuki Swift vehicles, worth R220 000 each; the prizes may differ from the images used in advertising material.
  5. Expiry dates can be found on the vouchers.
  6. Winners may be required to provide their names, ID numbers and contact details and to sign an acknowledgment of receipt of the prize.
  7. The daily prize draws for the R500 Shoprite vouchers will take place as follows:
    1. At the first 40 random prize draws, taking place from 30 September to 8 November 2025, one (1) winner will be drawn daily.
    2. At the next 22 random prize draws, taking place from 9 November to 30 November 2025, two (2) winners will be drawn daily.
    3. At the last random prize draw, taking place on 1 December 2025, six (6) winners will be drawn daily.
  8. The random prize draw for the grand prizes, i.e. for the trolley dashes and vehicles, will take place on 8 December 2025.
  9. Daily winners will be notified within 72 hours of the relevant draw, subject to verification. Winners’ prizes will be fulfilled within 15 (fifteen) working days of verification.
  10. The winners of the vehicles will be notified within 72 hours of the draw, subject to verification. Winners’ prizes will be fulfilled within 30 (thirty) working days of verification.
    1. The winners will have the option of taking a cash amount instead of the vehicle. If a winners decides to take the cash amount, they will receive a once-off amount of R220 000 (two hundred and twenty thousand rand).
    2. If a verified winner is not in possession of a valid South African driving license, they will automatically receive the once-off cash amount of R220 000 (two hundred and twenty thousand rand).
  11. The winners of the trolley dashes will be notified within 72 hours of the draw, subject to verification.
  12. The six (6) winners of the trolley dashes will be required to attend a trolley dash event at one of the stores stipulated below on 15 January 2026:
    1. Shoprite Hyper Chatsworth (KZN)
    2. Shoprite Theku Mall (KZN)
    3. Shoprite Mabopane (Gauteng)
    4. Shoprite Stretford Station (Gauteng)
    5. Shoprite Jan Smuts (Gauteng)
    6. Shoprite Mamms Mall (Mamelodi, Gauteng)
  13. Each winner will be allowed three (3) minutes in which to fill their trolley with as many items as they can, within the time frame, to a maximum value of R5 000 per trolley. The winners may select products from any aisles in the store.
  14. If the trolley dash winner’s trolley value exceeds R5 000, they have the option to pay in the difference or remove some of the goods from the trolley. If the trolley value is under R5 000, no cash will be issued for the difference, however the winner may top up the trolley to the total R5 000 value.
  15. Should a winner not be physically capable of participating in a trolley dash, the winner has the right to ask someone else to participate in the trolley dash on their behalf. Please note that, in such an event:
    1. the winner requires medical confirmation that he/she cannot participate in a physical event of this nature;
    2. the person who participates on behalf of the winner, does not qualify for any prize; and
    3. the winner may still attend the trolley dash if they are physically able to do so.
  16. Winners must organise their own transport to and from the stores where the trolley dashes are taking place.
  17. Winners will be notified and verified telephonically on the phone number used to enter the competition. Each participant is obliged to enter the competition using a phone number that is owned by and registered to that participant. No person can use another person’s phone number for competition entry purposes. This is to avoid fraud and possible litigation between the phone owner and the participant.
  18. Amka reserves the right to disqualify a winner if he or she cannot be reached telephonically after three (3) attempts on three (3) different occasions or in circumstances where a winner has been contacted but is not willing to provide or has not provided the requested information within 48 hours of having been notified that they are a winner. In such instances, a winner will forfeit their prize and Amka will select a new winner. If, after two (2) more attempts to find a winner, a winner still cannot be reached and/or also is not willing to provide or does not provide the requested information within 48 hours of having been notified that they are a winner, the prize will be forfeited and no further winners shall be selected by Amka.
  19. The winners of the grand prizes may be announced in the media by 15 January 2025.
  20. Winners may be invited to attend a ceremonial prize handover at a location to be decided by Amka.
  21. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be converted to cash, accept as set out under clause 17.a and 17.b.
  22. With a participant’s consent, Amka and/or its agents may publish their photo and/or details in the media without payment or compensation.
  23. Amka reserves the right, at any time and at its sole discretion, to vary, suspend, postpone, withdraw or amend this competition, including prizes or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever, including in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or factors beyond its control and without notice.
  24. Except as provided for in the Consumer Protection Act No. 68 of 2008 South Africa (“CPA”), the judges’ decision on all matters arising out of the competition will be final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  25. By entering the competition and/or accepting the prize, participants and winners hereby unconditionally and irrevocably indemnify and holds harmless Amka, the organisers, their directors, employees, agents, suppliers and contractors from and against any actions, claims and/or liability for injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from participation in the competition, acceptance of the prize, the use of any prize awarded and/or participation (or non-participation) in a prize-related activity, and/or attending a ceremonial prize handover, and acknowledge that Amka shall not be liable for any of the aforementioned liability for injury, loss or damage of any kind, save in the event of Amka’s gross negligence or wilful intent. This indemnity does not apply to any Santoor, Lemonvate, Lemon Lite, Lip Ice, Clere Radiance or Cuticura goods purchased by any participants or winners.
  26. Amka will not be held liable for any participant that provides incomplete or incorrect details and any technical glitches beyond its control.
  27. All information relating to this competition and published on any promotional material shall form part of the terms and conditions of entry.
  28. By entering the competition, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
  29. Should any dispute arise in relation to the interpretation of these Competition terms and conditions, Amka’s decision shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  30. All provisions of these terms and conditions shall be deemed to be qualified to the extent required in order to ensure compliance with the applicable provisions of the CPA and these terms and conditions must be interpreted and applied accordingly.
  31. By entering the competition in accordance with its terms, you are entering a promotional competition for the purposes of the CPA and the promotional competition will be conducted in accordance with same. Should a participant win a prize in the competition, he or she undertakes to expeditiously do all things necessary to enable Amka to comply with its obligations under the CPA.
  32. By participating in this competition and in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act No. 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”), participants consent to (i) the processing of their personal information by Amka, any of their operators, commercial partners, agents and subcontractors (who may be outside South Africa) on the condition that they will keep such information confidential; (ii) the collection of a participant’s personal information from any other source to supplement the personal information which Amka has about said participants; (iii) the retention of their personal information for as long as permitted for legal, regulatory, fraud prevention and marketing purposes, only for the purposes of this competition.
  33. These terms and conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between the participants and Amka.
  34. The competition shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
